PROJECT MANAGEMENT |
 |
The three key elements of any size project are
planning, execution of the project itself, and the follow-up.
At the option of each client, SYSTECHS will assign a
Project Manager, who specializes in the type of service required,
whether it be a large delivery, or a systems furniture installation.
The planning phase is typically the most critical. The project
manager will meet with the end user as often as necessary, to insure
that a realistic time frame is determined, and the overall approach
to the project meets the client's needs. During those meetings,
the project manager will verify field dimensions, wall construction,
logistical conditions for movement of product, elevator
requirements, and any special equipment needs. Once the total
scope of work is determined, a firm quotation is provided covering
all of the services to be performed. Once the project begins,
the project manager will be on-site every day that a crew is
present, insuring that time frames are met and
installation/delivery/cableing is occuring as planned. On a day to
day basis the project manager will be the sole source for resolution
of problems that might occur and changes that might be required.
After completion of the project, the project manager will
complete a written punchlist of any items to be solved, inventory
any excess furniture items, and provide the client with written
copies within 24 hours. To insure there are no loose ends, the
project manager will assist in securing storage for any excess
furniture, and arrange to have product returned to the manufacturer,
if required. |
